Still confused about the term “Pre-Order”- No problem, let me explain! When a brand does a pre-order release, it means they create unique sample pieces to showcase their designs. These samples serve as representations of the final product and allow the brand to offer more colorway options without having to produce them all upfront. 

Once the brand has finalized the design concept, they open their website for pre-orders typically from Friday to Monday morning. During this time, customers can browse the collection and place their orders. The brand collects information on the designs chosen and the quantities requested by customers.

After the pre-order period ends on Monday morning, the brand takes the design files and order quantities and sends them to the manufacturer. The manufacturing process usually takes around 3-4 weeks. It's important to understand that this production time is necessary to create the items specifically ordered during the pre-order phase.

For example, if you placed an order on July 21st, it would not be reasonable to expect delivery by August 15th. It's essential to be patient and understand that the brand needs time to manufacture the items based on the confirmed orders.

If by 2/3 months you haven't received your package, that would be an appropriate time to contact the brand and inquire about the status of your order.

In summary, pre-order releases allow brands to showcase sample pieces, offer more colorway options, and gather customer orders before manufacturing. It's important to be mindful of the production timeline and allow sufficient time for the brand to create and deliver the ordered items.
